About Me

My name is Kate Sale, I am a contemporary Jewellery and jewellery teacher based in Walyalup, (Fremantle) Western Australia. If you are here, you can see that I have a big thing for colour, anything for a dopamine hit!

All work is 100% handmade by me, in my studios in both Fremantle and Applecross. I do not outsource any aspect of my work, all is created onsite. Though doing this, I can maintain my own high standards and ensure that all pieces are 100% unique.

I am passionate about teaching people jewellery as I love to see the pride exuding from students as they admire their new creations.

I am currently teaching at a small jewellery school at the Goolugatup Arts Precinct in Applecross, Third Hand Jewellery Studio. I teach beginners through to advanced classes with numerous workshops in specialist techniques. For the past 2 years I have had the opportunity to work with Djilpin Arts Centre to assist the local women in translating traditional Aboriginal Weaving techniques into metal jewellery.
